Telangana Congress President Accuses Chief Minister and Officials of Draining State Resources

In a scathing attack on the ruling government, Telangana Congress President A. Revanth Reddy on Tuesday in Achampet Public Meeting alleged that Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao and his family, along with ministers and MLAs, are responsible for the systematic depletion of the state's resources. Reddy claimed that the opulent farmhouses owned by the Chief Minister's family serve as glaring symbols of the misappropriation of Telangana's wealth.

Speaking passionately at public meetings held in Wanaparthy and Achampet, Reddy asserted that the Chief Minister's residence and those of his family members stand as monuments to the alleged looting of resources that rightfully belong to the people of Telangana. He further accused other ministers and Members of Legislative Assembly (MLAs) of following suit, exacerbating the strain on the state's already stretched resources.

Reddy did not mince words as he called on Chief Minister KCR to reflect on the legacy of the Congress party over the last 75 years. He challenged KCR to introspect and find that the very infrastructure that contributed to his education—schools, colleges, and roads—was established by the Congress. Additionally, Reddy emphasized that the irrigation projects that facilitate agriculture in the state, providing water to farmers' fields, were also the result of Congress initiatives.

The Congress leader urged KCR to acknowledge the contributions of the Congress party to the state's development and questioned the current government's commitment to the welfare of the people. Reddy's impassioned speeches aimed to highlight what he perceives as a pattern of resource mismanagement and alleged corruption within the ruling administration.

As political tensions escalate, these accusations from the Telangana Congress president add fuel to the ongoing discourse surrounding governance and resource allocation in the state. The coming days are likely to see further responses and counterarguments from the ruling party as the political landscape in Telangana continues to evolve.
